What is infoStrip?

InfoStrip is an innovative, new generation, highly customizable and scalable Java portal platform that enables accessing dynamic contents of different content providers, using java-enabled mobile phones. InfoStrip distinguishes itself from "the-same-information-to-everyone" systems by highly customized information access.

Information is displayed as static bands, scrolling windows or in ticker format, which can contain not only text but also pictures.

InfoStrip client running on a Java-enabled phone refreshes its data by accessing to the InfoStrip server via GPRS.

End user configures the InfoStrip client so that not only the information that is important to the user is displayed but it is displayed in the style that the user feels comfortable with. In that respect, the system is highly customizable by the end user too.

Since customization data is not sent to the server but kept at the phone, maximum privacy is obtained.
